Self-described as "a delicious post-hardcore quintet " Abraham is a band with a bit of an identity crisis. If you are looking for something that by definition is beautiful or "easy-listening," will not find anything except music that sounds a mess, full of novelty and abrasive.

With a seamless wall of sound, one of the important features is that Abraham does incredibly well in more than half of the tracks of an eye on the music. They are very impressive for a band early in his career. They emit a feeling of apprehension too aggressive in his intense style that occurs without warning and without mercy, but it is important to note that this is not slow, but progressive and chaotic that sounds more harsh and higher.

It is evident through the layers of complex and sharp guitars, bass and drums ruling a refuse to be treated like a metronome, Abraham can fight for it. The vocals are a mix of hard and clean, and although maybe that is what leads to believe is an act of post-modern hardcore. Unfortunately, often drowned out by all the power of the instrumentation, the vocals down a threatening tone todefine sections of thunderous climax of tracks featured as the volatile Astro Zombies or the mud-dripping Bullet Dozer.

In a pleasant contrast, the intensity of your weight is also accompanied by thoughtful, subdued music sounding as segments of a bunch of astronauts in anger, half cousin Pelican soaring as post-metal.

As a debut? This is how you would feel if a student began to recite Thus Spake Zarathustra, in a voice deeper than a strong man could. An Eye on the Universe play as the saga of anomniscient creator ruthlessly destroying everything and anything deep. If this is what Abraham can do with just one eye on the universe, I can not imagine what they will be able to do once they open the other.
